The correspondence
on the following pages is from the head of the Chad Post Office to the UPU informing
them of certain illegal stamp issues. His letter identifies those companies
involved in producing these stamps. They are issues produced without a contract
with the Chad Post Office and would be defended by no-one. This does not mean
that all stamps issued on behalf of the Chad Post Office were done without contract
and the Michel catalogue knows this yet they denounce perfectly legal stamps
along with these illegal issues. What do they have to gain?
